All hope of survival seems lost until one day, the rich daughters-in-law of a very wealthy man come to Kaajal's father with an offer he could not refuse - they would provide him with money if he would rent his land to them so that they could build their own house on it. The daughters-in-law would provide him with daily work so that Kaajal's father could earn money for his family. With the help of the daughters-in-law, Kaajal's father is able to build their house and earn enough money to pay off his debtors. The daughters-in-law generously allow Kaajal's father to keep this land rent free. Kaajal has always loved singing, but her dream of becoming a singer has constantly eluded her. She constantly observes other singing groups perform in music concerts and try to copy the moves they make. She tries to sing songs by the famous singers, but she finds it difficult. One day, Kaajal's father has gone to the market to fetch milk, while Kaajal waits for him at home. The rich woman that owns the house next door hears Kaaja singing and asks her to sing another song. This time she accidentally mispronounced a word in the song which actually means 'building money'. When Kaajal finishes singing, the rich woman finally realizes that they obtained her land rent free and this was their chance to stay in that house even after her father had passed away.
